- Website
- I offer simple flexible web design for small to medium size businesses or individuals. I use mainly CSS and XHTML to get the job done so that it loads fast and is easier to update. I will work with you to come up with a web site that both pleases you and is easy for your customers to use. I can help you understand how to access and change your site so that you don't feel locked in to my services forever. I want you to choose my service because of the quality of the work not because you don't know how to get to your site otherwise.
- Presentation
- I offer design that can be as simple as template creation, or as involved as assembling the slides. I can output your presentation as Keynote, Powerpoint, Quicktime or DVD. Turn around depends on the size of the presentation.
- Logo
- Logo design and company branding is an important part of any successful business. Your logo is displayed on letterhead, envelopes, and products. It represents you when you're not there and, as such, needs to be well thought out and look professional.
- New logos are important, but few companies consider that their corporate identity is made out of not only logos but also font choices, unified design approaches, color schemes, and photography choices. It may sound overwhelming, but what you need is an overall design theme that can unify your logo, web and print appearance.
- Icon
- Software users, expecially in the macintosh camp, are growing more demanding of nice looking logos for the applications they use. In the digital age we are in, when most software is downloaded as opposed to shipped, your icon is your packaging. As many people that judge a book by its cover will judge and application by its icon.
This is where I come in. Icons help to set the tone of an application. They interest the user. Icons let the user know you care about the quality of their experience. I can help you to give your applications the attention they deserve, and help them get the attention you want them to have.
- Illustration
- Photos are great and they serve a purpose in design, but sometimes they aren't the right tool for the job. Illustration, when properly done can convey more information, in a more direct way. The illustration style I use could be described as cartoonish but however you look at it, it is punchy and eye grabbing. - Consulting (Mac based)
- Setting up networks, managing work flows or even picking out the right system for your business can be intimidating to some people. More and more people and businesses are looking at the macintosh these days for a solution to their PC woes, but the transition can seem daunting at first. What I offer is guidance and light IT support for the setup of macintosh computers (rarely do macs need more than light amounts of IT), solutions for workflows to existing mac based setups (backup solutions, file management, etc) and training on various mac programs and services.
